Children in Hot Cars – 10-Minute E-Learning Course

Every year, children suffer fatal heatstroke after being left in hot cars—an entirely preventable tragedy. Whether it’s a change in routine, a moment of distraction, or an assumption that a quick stop is safe, the risk is real. This short, engaging, and interactive 10-minute e-learning course is designed to raise awareness and equip individuals with the knowledge to prevent these heartbreaking incidents.

Flexible Enrollment: Learn as an Individual or Train as a Group
  • Individuals can easily enroll and complete the course at their own pace.
  • Organizations, schools, and businesses can set up group training, allowing a designated administrator to track participant progress and ensure completion.  Group Delivery of Courses Request Form

What: Hot Car Safety News Conference and Mock Rescue

Who is Hosting: Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles

Where: Florida Historic Capitol – 400 South Monroe Street Tallahassee, FL 32399

When: April 10, 2025 – Time: 11:00 AM Eastern

Who can come: Everyone is invited to learn about vehicular heatstroke. Attendees will see a mock demonstration of a doll rescue from a vehicle. Media presence will be on site.

What: Children’s Day at the Capital

Where: Florida State Capitol, 400 S. Monroe Street, Tallahassee, FL

When: April 15, 2025 – 2:00PM Eastern

All invited to attend. Statewide press conference and engaging activities for all attendees.
